C Our Future with QL Resources Berhad is officially launched on 18^th March 2023 at Pangsapuri Kampung Baru Hicom Shah Alam, Malaysia.

 

It is officiated by Dr. Amanda Lim (Area Director, Ceva Malaysia) & Mr. Chia Seong Pow (Executive Director, QL Resources Berhad), with a signing ceremony symbolizes the partnership between Ceva Malaysia & QL on this CSR project.

 

Eggs handover ceremony is carried out by Mr Mark Chia (Executive Director, QL Resources Berhad) to the representative of the egg donation beneficiaries.

 

The launch kickstarts the eggs donation for a period of 6 months to 9 government kindergartens in rural areas.

 

A total of 207 kindergarten children of age 5 & 6 will be receiving 5 eggs per week in school. The children are from low-income families & indigenous communities.

 

This project is supported by the government agencies: Malaysia Ministry of Health & Ministry of Rural Development.

 

The launching event was attended by the kindergarten teachers, more than 200 parents & guardians, children & government personnels. The program of the event included awareness talk about child stunting & myths about eggs, mother-child eggs cooking competition & childhood growth screening and etc.

 

Not only the event is organized to launch the program, but to create awareness of stunting and importance of eggs to our health among the community.

 

We are excited to see the result (children growth parameter) after 6 months of eggs consumption.
