The Exclusive Leong Hup Desvac School 2015 was held in Riverview Hotel, Muar on 26 May 2015 with a total 37 participants consisted of hatchery vaccinators, supervisors, hatchery managers, senior hatchery managers, veterinarians and general managers of hatchery.

The event was kicked off with a warm welcoming speech by Mr. Chris Chew who emphasized that Ceva and Agritech will provide service toward all hatcheries cooperated with us. First speaker was Dr Jessica Lee, Product and Technical Manager of Ceva Malaysia with topic ‘Importance of Hatchery Vaccination and Its Future Trend’. She prospected usage of hatchery vaccine will drastically increase in global with innovative products and machines were very important to provided full protection to chicken.

Mr Khairulazlan Salleh, our Equipment and Support Technician Supervisor shared his experience in hatchery with topic 'Overview and Introduction of C.H.I.C.K Program'. The key message was the best quality of vaccine and equipment must operate in right way by vaccinator to ensure full protection of DOC.

CSED team demonstrated features and benefits of hatchery machines after lunch followed by inviting Dr Jessica Lee again to share about 'Desvac and ECAT Campus: Service, Support and Innovation'. She emphasized that Desvac and ECAT campus were working closely with all countries in the world to continue to improve and innovate new machines to fulfill the needs of our customers.

Last speaker was Mr Hasrizal Abu Yazid who introduced 'A new program C.H.I.C.K Membership' launched by Ceva Malaysia this year to motivate and encourage vaccinators to achieve 100% well vaccinated chicks. Finally, there was a quiz section with gifts provided. We saw active and enthusiastic participation in the hall throughout the activity.

This event was indeed a successful one with a few must take home messages; the importance of vaccination quality in hatchery and machine is another crucial component coupled with motivated vaccinators to produce optimum performance birds in the farm. We hope that these important key messages will be shared with other colleagues who unable to attend this fruitful event.
