VETRIMOXIN® L.A.: is an injectable suspension (long-action amoxicillin) for the treatment of affections caused by susceptible organisms, and more particularly respiratory affections, neonatal diseases etc. Presented in its specific CLAS® container, patented by Ceva Animal Health, VETRIMOXIN® LA is a unique speciality that provides at the same time a quick and long lasting efficiency as well as a good comfort for the pig and for the farmer.

Amoxicillin (as trihydrate salt) ..................................15 g
Excipient q.s .........................................................100 ml
 
PROPERTIES
Amoxicillin is an half synthetic penicillin. The long acting formulation allows the antibiotic to reach and maintain effective levels of Amoxicillin for 48 hours. The main advantages of Amoxicillin are: broad spectrum antibiotic - bactericidal action enhanced - excellent diffusion and high concentration into all tissues after single administration through intramuscular route - low percentage of linkage with serum proteins - quick therapeutic answers - no pain nor irritation at the injection site
 
INDICATIONS
Cattle, sheep, goat, pig:
Treatment of diseases due to germs sensitive to Amoxicillin.
 
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not administer to animals sensitive to penicillins.
Do not administer to rabbits and rodents.
